WHYEIGHT REASONS, PLAINLY PUT

Tired of AI Hype?
So Are We.

Entalinity was built from inside a network operations centre, watching engineers spend most of every incident searching tools, reconciling records and chasing evidence. Eight reasons we do it differently, each one about your problem, not our technology.

Built Around How Engineers Work

We do the tier 1 work the way a good engineer would. Only faster.

Overlay investigates alarms, correlates them to one root cause, gathers evidence, finds the affected customers, logs or enriches the ticket and keeps customers informed. Inlay takes escalations with a complete case file and does the deeper analysis. Your engineers stop starting every incident from a blank screen.

GROUND TRUTH

An engineer spends most of an incident searching tools, reconciling records and assembling evidence before any technical work begins. That is the part we take away.

02

Authority That Grows With Trust

No AI gets free rein over your network. Not ours, not anyone's.

Each product holds the authority of the human role it supports, and that authority widens only as trust is earned. Overlay holds tier 1 authority and raises requests rather than making changes. Inlay's permissions depend on the risk of the action and the impact on the customer: low-risk actions on non-critical customers can run automatically with a log, higher-risk ones need one-tap approval, and the highest need a named senior engineer and a rollback plan.

GROUND TRUTH

Every action is logged with who or what approved it and why. Data corrections wait for evidence and go through an approval queue.

Rules Where Data Is Clean. AI Where It Breaks.

We do not use AI where ordinary software does the job better.

Rules are cheaper and more predictable where data is clean, so connectors, ID normalisation, linking and sync in our data layer are ordinary, deterministic software. AI is used where rules break: inconsistent alarm formats across vendors, free-text ticket notes, undocumented dependencies, conflicting records and cascades nobody anticipated. It also removes the cost of maintaining thousands of hand-written rules.

GROUND TRUTH

AI can be confidently wrong, so low-confidence findings are flagged for a human and consequential actions always require approval.

Your Data Stays Yours

We document how to leave. The reason to stay is value, not a trap.

You keep ownership of your data and your systems. The data layer reads and mirrors; your systems stay the record. What keeps customers is value that builds up over time and cannot be copied from a file: the tuned authority rules and approval history built with your team, the learned reliability of each of your tools, the audit trail and trust built across thousands of incidents, and live integrations into your workflows.

GROUND TRUTH

You own what the system knows. It works best in the environment it learned in, and a competitor starting fresh would have to rebuild all of it.

Telecoms First. Not Telecoms Only.

We start where we know the work best. The problem is everywhere.

We begin with telecom operators, where a single core link failure can set off dozens of alarms and the tools rarely agree. But the pattern is general. ISPs, data centres, IT service desks, utilities and any operations team running on many disconnected tools search, reconcile and log in exactly the same way, and the same four layers apply.

GROUND TRUTH

The same four layers apply wherever incidents are slowed by searching across tools: connect, investigate, resolve, learn.

The Right Model for Each Job

Open-source models for routine work. Frontier models when it gets hard.

We choose and manage the models, so you are never asked to evaluate open and closed models yourself. Routine tier 1 correlation and normalisation runs on open-source models. Advanced reasoning, ambiguous cases and tier 2 escalations go to frontier models from labs such as Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI (ChatGPT). The model layer is built to be swapped, and can run in-country or on-premise where sovereignty requires it.

GROUND TRUTH

Cost per incident is tracked from the first pilot, because it decides pricing, and routing by difficulty is how we keep it low.

Customers Hear First

Before they phone in. Without guessing.

The moment Overlay knows which customers sit behind a fault, it sends them a holding message, one that carries no uncertain facts. Detailed updates wait until the facts are confirmed. When tier 2 corrects a record, Overlay works out the affected customers again from the corrected mapping and sends the full update. Your customers stop being the ones who tell you something is down.

GROUND TRUTH

A wrong update is worse than a late one. That is why the holding message says only what is certain, and the details follow the evidence.

A Neutral Layer Across Your Vendors

Your data should not come with a toll on every tool.

Software vendors are starting to charge for AI access to data their customers already own. Some charge per call or per edition on top of the licence you already pay. If every tool vendor treats AI access as a new revenue line, operators end up paying several times to use their own data. Entalinity is a neutral layer that works across vendors and is owned by none of them, starting with the tools that have open interfaces.

GROUND TRUTH

We document integration costs honestly. Where a vendor charges for or resists API access, you will know before we start, not after.

BACKGROUND
Tier 1 network engineer, CMC Networks
FOUNDED BY

Built by a practitioner.
Not a vendor.

Entalinity was founded by Bheki Ntando Ngwenya in Sandton, Gauteng. Bheki worked as a tier 1 network engineer at CMC Networks for two years, across ITSM, NOC monitoring, Python automation and core telco systems (EPC, IMS, OSS/BSS), and builds production full-stack applications.

The system is designed from direct knowledge of how the work is actually done: the searching, the reconciling, the evidence-gathering and the customer updates that fill a tier 1 shift. It is built to give that time back to the engineers who need it.

The name Entalinity — from entity and infinity — means infinite intelligence: a system that keeps learning from every incident it handles, in service of the engineers who run the network. Every engagement is personal, and every promise made to a client is backed by Bheki directly.

"Engineers should fix things.
Not search for them."
